Hello All!

Friends, Coworkers, and potentially former Connections. 

I’m coming out. As unvaccinated. 

I think things have gotten to the point where I’m concerned that saying I am purposefully unvaccinated publicly will lead to more than just being called a clown, a doofus, or being yelled at like I am a child. I believe there are many people (possibly you reading this) who would attack me, try to get me fired from my job, or destroy my business just for stating it. In fact, I’m so legitimately concerned about that, that I won’t be quiet. 

These are scary times when we can’t have intellectual discussions and share ideas and concerns openly. I thought that is how growth occurs, an exchange of differences of opinion seeking common truths. I teach that as practice to my teams at work (Individuals and Interaction OVER Process and Tools, for example). Professors from our top universities have their open dialogue with colleagues on COVID drugs restricted from public view. 

I have to say something. If I don’t, who will? It’s possible no one will be able to…not for fear of reprisal, but because punishment is guaranteed.

In my case, people who know me will know that when I choose to speak, I will usually ask a question.
